Term 1 Week 3

The Blog is set up and we have links from our support page. I have seen how to create a picture and upload it to my blog profile. All students in the class now have a web address (W:\ drive when in school) and this is the address http://www.brit.croydon.sch.uk/Websites2008/cormonde/
The formatting in this and every post has been investigated e.g. bold colour and size

We have used the copying and pasting of filenames and web addresses consistently so as not to have to type and make a mistake

Week 1 Fire drill ends 12JPr lesson 1

  Aspects of the lesson must now be done in week 3

Term 1 Week 2

In our first lesson we made a preparation for BTEC unit 54

1. School network login and BRIT email functionality was tried and tested
2. Use of pen drives U:\ drive and W:\ drive tested and confirmed
   
3. The blog diary was confirmed (or not)
   
4. send receive c.c. and attachments were tested and evidence of success produced
5. Mobile phone number and other information items collected by sending an email to the teacher
6. Support Web site investigated (Click here)
   
7. Screen grabbing software demonstrated on email page to record email skills in Eportfolio
   

My first week at BRIT

We arrived yesterday and we have spent most of our time finding out where the rooms and teachers are and getting our timetable. My Tutor is called Mr Preston and we are in 12JPr. We will later need to bring to school

1. a mobile phone
2. a diary
3. a pen
